NYC "gangstore" aNYthing is hosting a book launch for photographer Ari Marcopoulos, who's zeitgeist-capturing work has spanned subjects including Jean-Michel Basquiat, hip-hoppers, skaters and snowboarders.

Entitled Out And About, the book is the first published by Alleged Press, a joint venture by LA curator and street-art entrepreneur Aaron Rose and Italian publishing house Damiani, who recently published the super-limited Terry Richardson monograph Kibosh.

While Marcopoulos has published his work widely, including several art books, this is a comprehensive retrospective of over twenty years of work, beginning when Marcopolous worked as an assistant to Andy Warhol prior to his death in 1987.
