According to a lengthy feature in this week's issue of The New Yorker and reports online, author/illustrator Maurice Sendak is currently working with literary hot shot Dave Eggers and famed filmmaker Spike Jonze to bring his beloved tale of a "a tantrum and a time out" which revolutionized the genre of children's literature and helped fire the imaginations of generations of children (including his collaborators on this project).

While production doesn't begin until this Summer, EMERGE can't wait to learn more as details of this landmark film, erm, emerge...
